About The Position
Child Development Schools is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher for its early childhood classrooms. The role focuses on helping create a nurturing environment where children can thrive, while prioritizing their safety and well-being. The Assistant Teacher works with the lead teacher to plan engaging activities that support children's development and builds strong partnerships with parents through open communication. The organization provides developmental education for children from six weeks to twelve years across 11 states.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working with children.
Nice To Haves
- Education in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience within a licensed center.
Responsibilities
- Assist in guiding young learners.
