About The Position

This is a child care center role focused on helping children become lifelong learners. The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care of every child, maintains a fun and interactive classroom, observes and assesses children, plans for their needs, communicates with families, and completes training on child care, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe and assess children and plan for them.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete training on child care, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
