About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to support infant care and early childhood education in a warm, team-oriented preschool environment. The role helps create a joyful, nurturing, safe, and engaging space for young learners, supports their growth through play and age-appropriate activities, and communicates children’s daily milestones to parents. The Teacher Assistant collaborates with educators to deliver an age-appropriate curriculum and contribute ideas to a balanced daily schedule.

Requirements

• Meet all state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
• Be flexible and ready to work during business hours.
• Have a strong interest in infants and their growth.

Responsibilities

• Support Cadence Education’s philosophy and help foster a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Document and share children’s daily milestones with parents.
• Collaborate with educators to deliver a lively, age-appropriate curriculum that sparks curiosity.
• Follow children’s interests, keep them safe, and extend their play through language, toys, and activities.
• Model and encourage age-appropriate social behaviors.
• Contribute ideas for a balanced daily schedule that includes quiet and active periods, indoor and outdoor activities, and fine and gross motor activities.
