About The Position

This Youth Apprentice CNA position is for a Medical Surgical Unit. The schedule is varied and based on high school hours and schedules. The role involves providing patient care as assigned and per routine, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures. Responsibilities include answering call lights promptly, documenting care, maintaining a clean work environment, managing supplies, and potentially floating to various units based on patient care needs. The apprentice will also participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Completion of CNA certificate program
  • Participating in a Youth Apprentice program through your high school.
  • Current CNA Certificate in applicable state.
  • Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
