Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data center or infrastructure construction.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and manage workflow.
• Excellent knowledge of safety codes and regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation aspects of data center construction and maintenance projects.
• Plan and schedule installation work to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to support project execution.
• Lead and supervise foremen and apprentices in installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.
• Ensure work follows industry standards, company policies, and applicable regulations and codes.
• Conduct and supervise routine inspections of systems and equipment for functionality and safety.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues and implement solutions.
• Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Inspect completed work for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Address and rectify issues or deficiencies as directed by the QA/QC Manager.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and other work.
• Prepare reports on project status, team performance, incidents, and issues.
• Communicate project updates and requirements to upper management and supervisors.
• Respond to emergencies, including power outages and system failures, to minimize downtime.
