About The Position

Requirements

• Hands-on aptitude, teamwork, and strong documentation skills.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite in a laboratory environment.
• Must be willing and able to work the Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift.
• Must be willing and able to meet all physical requirements of the position.
• At least one year of system software testing experience.
• We will accept any suitable education, training, and/or experience combination.

Nice To Haves

• Medical device or IVD testing experience.
• Diagnostic assay or instrumentation experience.
• Reliability testing/study experience.
• Test protocol development experience.
• System software testing.
• Experience with regulated verification documentation and requirements traceability.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test protocols to verify requirements and design specifications, ensuring conformance to intended use of products.
• Conduct system-level tests in the lab to determine product feasibility and support product development.
• Design and conduct reliability lab studies on instruments that run diagnostic assays.
• Candidate must be physically capable and willing to work in a lab environment 6–7 hours/day performing system-level manual testing on a complex instrumentation platform.
