About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract. The Software Engineer will be part of a small, technically strong Agile team, responsible for design, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. This role requires a high degree of initiative and technical excellence to build sophisticated and complex functionality for the client's Treasury business, aiming to improve liquidity management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and a desire to implement continuous delivery and integration.

Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of UX and responsive UI design with an emphasis on intuitive design
Ability to write cross-browser and standards compliant code that meets flexibility, scalability, and performance requirements
Highly skilled at front-end engineering using a modern client-side technology stack that can include: Angular, Java, CSS preprocessors (Sass/LESS)
4+ years of experience in Angular, with most recent experience in Angular 16
Hands-on experience in unit testing frameworks such as Karma and Jasmine
Experience working with REST API, JSON, and XML
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible
Basic experience with a major database like Oracle or SQL Server
Knowledge of Agile and/or SCRUM methodologies
Dedicated, self-driven, and willing to take responsibility and ownership of application
Strong problem-identifying and solving ability
Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of Python is desirable
