About The Position

We are currently seeking a System Software Verification and Validation Engineer who will be responsible for testing software for highly complex medical devices/instrumentation for IVD Product Development and IVD Product Testing.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to follow testing protocols accurately.
Hands-on aptitude, teamwork, and strong documentation skills.
Must be willing and able to work onsite in a laboratory environment.
Must be willing and able to work the Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift.
Must be willing and able to meet all physical requirements of the position.
At least one year of system software testing experience.
We will accept any suitable education, training, and/or experience combination.

Nice To Haves

Medical device or IVD testing experience.
Diagnostic assay or instrumentation experience.
Reliability testing/study experience.
Test protocol development experience.
System software testing.
Experience with regulated verification documentation and requirements traceability.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test protocols to verify requirements and design specifications, ensuring conformance to intended use of products.
Conduct system-level tests in the lab to determine product feasibility and support product development.
Design and conduct reliability lab studies on instruments that run diagnostic assays.
Candidate must be physically capable and willing to work in a lab environment 6–7 hours/day performing system-level manual testing on a complex instrumentation platform.
