Requirements

• 2-3+ years of in-depth experience in programming or systems analysis desired.

Responsibilities

• Build medium complexity applications ensuring that the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards.
• Work closely with other software engineers and team members to understand the system end-to-end and perform system analysis.
• Analyze, design, configure and develop the business logic and backend systems.
• Complete the work needed to implement features from the product backlog.
• Work closely with Product/Business Owner to understand stories and requirements from both Business and Technical perspective.
• Size/estimate user stories/requirements.
• Perform unit testing and execute all testing related activities including the automation of test cases where applicable.
• Create necessary project and product artifacts including support documentation.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure features meet business needs.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot) to support software development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting while ensuring solutions meet quality, security, and compliance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with infrastructure, security and other partners.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Communicate with Product/Business Owner, Engineering Lead, UI/UX Designer or Scrum Master/Project Manager to ensure stories/tasks are delivered on schedule.
• Perform ongoing product maintenance and resolve issues (e.g. break/fix) as support requests arise.
• Mentor less experienced team members.
