About The Position

As a Senior Fullstack Developer and Regional Lead within JPMorganChase’s Infrastructure Platforms, Data Center Services team, you will deliver secure, stable, scalable technology products. You will lead a US team of three developers, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with global engineering practices, and keep the global team informed about progress, results, and risks. The role involves developing full-stack solutions using Angular on the frontend and Node.js/TypeScript on the backend; setting regional priorities and delivery expectations; reviewing code and maintaining engineering standards; using and promoting AI-assisted development tools; mentoring developers; improving operational stability through automation and remediation; coordinating with Engineering and Product Managers; managing delivery risks and dependencies; and contributing to software engineering communities of practice.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience delivering production software.
Practical experience across the full software development life cycle, including system design, application development, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support.
Frontend development experience with Angular, including state management and testing with Testing Library.
Experience building RESTful APIs with Node.js and TypeScript, and writing and maintaining unit, functional, and integration tests.
Experience leading or coordinating other developers, with accountability for team delivery consistency and quality.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including global or distributed teams; provide structured updates; and translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
Experience collaborating in agile teams and participating in Scrum ceremonies, such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning; experience facilitating or running ceremonies.
Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, or troubleshooting, including setting expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or similar.

Nice To Haves

Experience with React in addition to Angular.
Prior experience leading a distributed or regional team in a global engineering organization.
Experience with Python for backend services or tooling.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma for collaboration on UI/UX requirements.
Experience managing application risk, controls compliance, and resiliency requirements in a regulated financial services or enterprise technology environment.
Exposure to cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code practices, and familiarity with API documentation standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver full-stack software solutions using Angular and Node.js/TypeScript, breaking down complex technical challenges.
Lead the US regional team of three developers and align its work with global engineering standards, coding practices, and delivery processes.
Set priorities and expectations for the regional team, focus delivery on results, and hold team members accountable for commitments.
Provide structured updates to the global team on regional progress, results, risks, and blockers.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers’ work to maintain consistency, reliability, and engineering standards.
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed, and encourage effective adoption within the regional team.
Mentor and support regional developers with technical guidance and foster continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system stability.
Partner with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager to align regional delivery with the product roadmap and sprint planning.
Escalate and resolve regional delivery risks, dependencies, and resourcing concerns, maintaining transparency with global stakeholders.
Participate in Software Engineering communities of practice to promote modern tooling, patterns, and best practices.
