About The Position

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline.
• Three years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
• Java and Kotlin.
• Three years of experience with AWS cloud services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
• Spring Boot.
• Three years of experience with messaging and streaming systems using Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.
• Apache Airflow.
• Typescript.
• Three years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Three years of experience developing APIs and service interfaces using REST and gRPC.
• CI/CD using CodePipeline and GitLab CI.
• Three years of experience with database management systems, including Postgres and DynamoDB.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Three years of experience with workflow orchestration platforms, such as AWS Step Functions or Temporal.
• NB Testing.
• Three years of experience with operational excellence practices and monitoring and alerting tools, including DataDog or AWS CloudWatch.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Build performant and scalable backend applications using object-oriented programming languages in a cloud-based microservice architecture.
• Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product.
• Own technical solutions for new product requirements.
• Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment.
• Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, operations, and peer technical teams to deliver impactful products.
• Mentor other team members and help foster a learning environment within the team.
