About The Position

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Software Engineer to develop network test automation solutions in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The role focuses on designing and developing Python-based automation, automating network-device provisioning, configuration management, and validation, and supporting automation testing with REST APIs, Docker, and microservices. The engineer collaborates with Network Engineering, DevOps, and Test Engineering to support manufacturing processes, troubleshoots automation-related issues, and optimizes performance. The position also involves understanding customer build requirements, communicating and circulating feedback, and managing and executing predefined processes.

Requirements

• BS/MS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing manufacturing test automation solutions.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with automation on networking devices.
• Understanding of hardware development and the manufacturing process for data center products.
• Strong background in network test automation.
• Demonstrated small- or large-team leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills, a logical approach to problem-solving, and strong time-management and task-prioritization skills.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding how microservices, such as API creation, work.
