About The Position
Sleep Technologist (RST, RPSGT, or SDS) Location: Southwoods Sleep Centers | Boardman, OH Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem (PRN) Available About Southwoods Health At Southwoods, it’s not just about the treatment, but how you’re treated. We are seeking credentialed Sleep Technologists to join our team in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with sleep disorders.
Requirements
- Must hold a current RST , RPSGT , or SDS credential.
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong critical thinking, leadership abilities, and the ability to articulate clinical findings clearly.
- Dedicated to maintaining a professional demeanor and completing the required 10 CEUs annually.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and calibrate sophisticated equipment, apply sensors, and perform precise physiological calibrations for both in-center and out-of-center testing.
- Provide direct patient education and perform routine PAP mask fittings to ensure successful treatment outcomes.
- Accurately score polysomnographs, generate comprehensive reports, and maintain meticulous medical records.
- Provide oversight for sleep center staff while maintaining strict patient confidentiality and professional standards.
