About The Position
Bethany Medical, a Multi-Specialty physician practice, is seeking a Part-Time Sleep Lab Technician to join their team in High Point, North Carolina. This is an overnight position with hours from 7 pm on Saturday to 7 am on Sunday. The role involves technical, procedural, and problem-solving aspects, requiring the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitask with great attention to detail.
Requirements
- Completing an accredited educational program leads to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
- Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience.
- Documented proficiency at all competencies required of a polysomnographic technologist or certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Registered Sleep Technologist (Preferred)
- RPSGT (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions related to sleep disorders.
- Gathers and analyzes patient information.
- Performs preparation procedures.
- Performs polysomnographic procedures.
- Performs polysomnographic recording scoring.
