About The Position
TEKsystems is currently seeking an IT Risk and Security Analyst/Engineer for a 6-month Hybrid Remote contract located in Meridian, Idaho. The focus is on IT Risk Assessments, Policy Exceptions, NIST CSF and HIPAA Security Assessments. The role involves conducting risk assessments, ensuring appropriate risk treatment plans are implemented, and driving compliance with policies. Responsibilities include managing the policy lifecycle, monitoring adherence to governance frameworks, and collaborating with stakeholders. The position requires a minimum of 3-4/+ years of IT experience, preferably 3/+ years in cybersecurity-related work. The analyst will monitor, analyze, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, networks, databases, and web-based security, ensuring appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives.
Requirements
- 3-4/+ years minimum in IT experience
- Preferably 3/+ years in cybersecurity related work
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field of study or equivalent work experience
- International Degree equivalency
- Applicable certification(s) as defined by the leader + 2 years additional experience
- Associate Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field + 2 years additional experience
- Two years relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college
