About The Position

Park Avenue Group is partnering with a $1 billion Florida credit union seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to protect its systems, networks, and sensitive information and strengthen its overall cybersecurity posture. The role focuses on monitoring and responding to threats, managing vulnerabilities and remediation, supporting security platforms, and working with IT teams and vendors on controls, risk assessments, audits, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity, information security, or related technical experience.
• Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and network security.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory/Entra ID, and endpoint security tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, or similar.
• Financial services experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
• Manage security alerts, vulnerability assessments, remediation efforts, and incident response activities.
• Support endpoint, network, identity, and email security platforms.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on security controls, risk assessments, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Track emerging threats, maintain security documentation, and report key security metrics.
• Support cybersecurity awareness, business continuity, and security improvement initiatives.
