About The Position
Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the exciting Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) and composites industry, is seeking a Junior Production Planner / Scheduler to support production management for ongoing UAV projects. The growing Madison, AL-based small business is seeking innovative individuals who want to join an up tempo, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter! The Production Planner / Scheduler has primary responsibility for releasing and distributing production orders, maintaining schedule status, and supporting production and engineering with manufacturing bill of material status. The Production Planner / Scheduler will work daily with production, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to ensure and communicate smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Experience working with an MRP system
- Experience with inventory management and control of products and records
- Experience with configuration management system
- Attention to detail, the ability to follow through and a high level of customer service skill
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and implement change
- Experience and comprehension of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Excel/Word
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of planning/scheduling experience preferred
