About The Position

Make a Meaningful Impact as a Float RN in Acute Care Nephrology! Are you a dialysis experienced RN who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and loves variety in your day-to-day? DaVita is seeking a dedicated Float Registered Nurse to provide life-sustaining dialysis care in hospital settings across the metro area. Dialysis is such a fulfilling and rewarding specialty! In this highly collaborative role, you will work directly with patients in the ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of practice (MN)
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Reliable transportation to travel between the assigned hospital locations
  • Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Prior experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg is a huge plus!
  • CNN/CDN certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
  • Monitor patients, adjust treatments in real-time, and ensure top-quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with hospital teams, DaVita clinical staff, and oversee patient care with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
  • Adapt quickly and confidently in high-acuity, ever-changing hospital environments as you travel between our partner facilities.
