About The Position

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NRP certification required
• Willingness to assist with Med Surg patients when OB census is low
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in rural hospital setting
• Ability to work in a cross-functional nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
• Assist with medication administration and treatment planning
• Support Med Surg patients during low OB census periods
• Collaborate with OB, Med Surg, and Emergency Department teams
• Respond to obstetric and medical emergencies as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a rural healthcare setting
