The Nurse Manager, Pulmonary, directs the nursing care provided to patients on a nursing unit, maintaining standards of service excellence and nursing practice. This role involves developing evidenced-based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure quality patient care. The manager is responsible for staffing, budget management, expense control, continuing development and education of staff, performance improvement, and human resource management, including supervising, evaluating, guiding, and counseling nursing staff.
