About The Position

The Nurse Manager, Pulmonary, directs the nursing care provided to patients on a nursing unit, maintaining standards of service excellence and nursing practice. This role involves developing evidenced-based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure quality patient care. The manager is responsible for staffing, budget management, expense control, continuing development and education of staff, performance improvement, and human resource management, including supervising, evaluating, guiding, and counseling nursing staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • 5 years experience as a RN in a clinical specialty area
  • PA Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support
  • Multi State Compact RN License

Nice To Haves

  • National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related speciality preferred
  • 1 year experience in a clinical leadership role Preferred
