About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room at an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. The assignment offers weekly pay of $2,377 ($66.03 per hour for 36 hours per week). Eligible travelers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,414 per week. Shifts are either day shift, 07:00–19:30, or one of two night shifts, 18:30–07:00 or 19:00–07:30; each schedule is 36 hours per week. Assignment durations are 13 or 26 weeks, and some openings are six-month contracts. Start dates are November 2, 2026, and November 16, 2026. There are seven openings. VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit, a dedicated recruiter, assistance with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding, and potential contract extensions or new assignments.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license, or a multistate compact license accepted in Iowa.
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience in acute care.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- PALS and TNCC are typically required for ER.
