About The Position

A growing behavioral health practice in Illinois is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient psychiatric care offering flexible scheduling options for part-time or the potential development into full-time work. The PMHNP will perform structured psychiatric evaluations, manage follow-up medication visits, and support patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions including mood disorders, substance use, and situational stressors. Requirements

  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry
  • Ability to manage both new evaluations and med-management visits
  • Comfort treating substance use disorders a plus
  • Strong communication and patient-engagement skills
  • Active PMHNP certification
  • Eligibility for Illinois APRN licensure
