About The Position
Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS), the largest free-standing behavioral health system for children and adolescents in Illinois, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide medication management services in PHP and IOP settings. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call required. It provides work independence and opportunities for personal and professional growth alongside a professional, competent, and compassionate staff. Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a PMHNP.
- PhD or master’s degree in nursing from a recognized school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in Illinois, or willingness to obtain Illinois licensure.
- Board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health.
