About The Position
Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS), the largest free-standing behavioral health system for children and adolescents in Illinois, is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide medication management services in PHP and IOP settings. The role is based in the Chicago suburbs and offers work independence and opportunities for personal and professional growth alongside a professional, competent, and compassionate staff. No call is required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a PMHNP.
- PhD or master's degree in nursing from a recognized school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in Illinois, or willingness to obtain Illinois licensure.
- Board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health.
