The Therapist leads collaboration among an interdisciplinary team to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services interventions for patients on their caseload and their support systems. Using empirically supported approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy, the therapist supports stabilization and recovery for people with mental and behavioral health concerns. The role creates a safe, supportive environment in which patients can understand connections among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and work toward their goals. Therapists may also train, supervise, guide, and support less experienced therapists and student interns. The position is in an acute care setting that may include inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and/or intensive outpatient services. The therapist may perform other duties as directed by a manager or clinical operations supervisor in support of patient care and system initiatives. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with Tuesday through Friday in office and Saturday remote. The typical shift is 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. CST. New employees who meet the stated definition may be eligible for a $2,000 retention bonus if in-training licensed or a $4,000 retention bonus if fully licensed. A new employee is defined as someone who has not been employed with Rogers for more than six months.
