About The Position

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with the pediatric nephrology inpatient team and consults, and to assess, evaluate, treat, and manage pediatric nephrology patients in the outpatient clinics. This role involves working with patients who have hypertension, nephrotic syndrome, microhematuria, proteinuria, and CKD.

Requirements

  • State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for Nurse Practitioner)
  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice (Pediatric Acute Care or Pediatric Primary Care) (for Nurse Practitioner)
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for Physician Assistant)
  • Active PA board certification (for Physician Assistant)
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire

Responsibilities
