Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Full Time (8am-8pm)
About The Position
Moore County Hospital District (MCHD) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their clinic team. The NP/PA will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide comprehensive, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role involves health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic illnesses for a diverse patient population. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Texas. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP, or other applicable certification. Or an unrestricted PA license to practice within Texas
- Current DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities
- Provide primary and/or specialized health care services to patients based on scope of practice.
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, take detailed patient histories, and develop differential diagnoses.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, preventive care, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to clinic protocols, regulatory standards, and quality assurance measures.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and continuing education.
