About The Position

Physician Assistants at NYP/Westchester: A Growing, Autonomous Team. As skilled clinicians and respected collaborators, our PAs bring inspiring commitment and provide high-quality care to every patient. We are seeking an experienced PA to take front line responsibility. Together, we use our brains and hearts to provide the highest level of care imaginable. In the process, experience all the reasons we entered our noble field. As a Physician Assistant in this combined and highly autonomous role, you will manage all aspects of care for the service lines including assessing hospital consultations, performing history and physical examinations, providing periprocedural management, assisting in coordination of transfers, and be a leader in providing high-quality innovative care to patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • New York State Physician Assistant license
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Certified Life Support (ACLS)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous PA experience in Interventional Cardiology/Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Open to ICU or Critical Care experience
