About The Position
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a part-time position in Babylon, NY. The role involves collecting specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours and a role within the healthcare industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work the specified schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and Saturday, 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Collect specimens from patients and prepare them for laboratory testing.
