About The Position
Gordon Food Service is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector for their 2nd shift operations in Kenosha, WI. This role is crucial to the company's success in delivering seamless order processing and delivery. The position involves being on your feet for 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a freezer environment. While no prior experience is required as training is provided, the role demands physical stamina and the ability to work in extreme temperatures. Order selectors are compensated with a starting wage that increases with production and efficiency, with the potential to earn significantly more than their base salary.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Steady Work History.
- Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
- Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Select orders in a warehouse environment.
