Team Member - Order Selector - 3rd Shift
About The Position
J.J. Taylor Distributing, Florida Inc. is a beer distributor whose mission is to be the “First Choice” distributor for its employees, customers, and suppliers. The Order Selector works with a warehouse team to select and load beer and other beverages from storage onto pallets for delivery according to customer orders. The role uses electric pallet jacks and pick software and is based in a warehouse in Tampa, Florida. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 3 p.m. and continuing until work is completed. Pay is $20–$30 per hour, depending on performance. Applicants must complete an in-house electric pallet jack certification program, with possible forklift certification. Employment offers are contingent on successfully completing a physical agility assessment, drug screen, and background check. The work involves regularly lifting and moving product averaging 30 pounds and weighing up to 49 pounds, as well as exposure to warehouse conditions including extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, moving machinery, outside weather, wet or humid conditions, and potentially chemicals, toxicants, electrical shock, loud noise, and high places. Requirements
- Must be able to complete the in-house electric pallet jack certification program; forklift certification may also be required.
- Must be able to regularly lift and move product averaging 30 pounds and weighing up to 49 pounds.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Successful completion of a physical agility assessment, drug screen, and background check is required for an employment offer.

Responsibilities
- Package customer orders according to order requests.
- Use electric pallet jacks and pick software to hand-stack cases of beer.
- Pick pallets for delivery.
- Ensure pallets are properly built and stacked for safe delivery.
