About The Position

J.J. Taylor Distributing, Florida Inc. is hiring an Order Selector to work in its Tampa, Florida warehouse. Order Selectors work as part of a team to select and load beer and other beverages from storage onto pallets for delivery. They use electric pallet jacks and pick software to prepare customer orders and ensure pallets are safely built and stacked. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 3 p.m. and continuing until work is complete. Pay is $20–$30 per hour, depending on performance. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete the in-house electric pallet jack certification program; forklift certification may also be required.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move product weighing an average of 30 pounds and up to 49 pounds.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Must successfully complete a physical agility assessment, drug screen, and background check as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience desired.

Responsibilities
