About The Position
The CDL Shuttle Drivers are key to our growing business. This is a client facing role, transporting clients in transit buses. For all new employees, Innovative Transportation Solutions offers all paid classroom and hands-on training needed to be successful. Housing and meals are included at no charge.
Requirements
- Maintain a Class A, B or C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Airbrakes and Passenger Endorsement.
- Must be a minimum of 23 years of age.
- Have and maintain a clean driving record
- Pass a pre-employment and random drug tests
- Pass a federal background check
- Speak fluent English
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Must undergo a pre-employment drug test and physical by a company appointed physician/facility and receive clearance.
- Shuttle driving: 2 years (Required)
- Air Brake Endorsement (Required)
- Passenger Endorsement (Required)
- CDL A or B (Required)
Responsibilities
- Ensure that “World Class Service” is provided to customers and provide “hands on” assistance and information to customers of The Driver Provider that utilize company services.
- Safely transport clients to their destinations in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of all passengers.
- Provide top-notch service and ensure that passengers have a comfortable journey.
- Learn and adhere to designated routes.
- Work varied shifts
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Arrive at each designated location at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled trip
- Greet clients in a warm and welcoming manner
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients
