About The Position

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services in Gladstone, Oregon, for the 2026–2027 school year. This on-site opportunity serves students from K through 12th grade and is ideal for an OT who enjoys collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students build the skills they need for success in the classroom. The role involves delivering occupational therapy services that support students' educational participation and functional independence, completing evaluations and assessments, developing and implementing therapy goals within the IEP process, providing consultation to teachers and families, managing caseloads with accurate documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Oklahoma
  • NBCOT certification
  • Department of Education certification or school-based credential, when required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
  • Knowledge of sensory integration principles and developmental/sensory-motor assessment techniques
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Comfort using technology for documentation and service delivery
  • Successful fingerprint and background clearance
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy services that support students' educational participation and functional independence.
  • Complete evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and recommend appropriate services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor therapy goals as part of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.
  • Provide consultation to teachers, families, and school teams to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies throughout the school day.
  • Manage assigned caseloads while maintaining accurate documentation, progress reports, and required records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized intervention plans and monitor student outcomes.
