About The Position
Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered occupational therapy in an in-facility setting. The therapist assesses patient needs, develops recovery plans, and delivers therapy designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence. The role involves adapting care to individual patients and varied needs, collaborating with peers, making referrals when appropriate, and teaching patients and caregivers skills that promote independence and productivity. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback describes its approach as integrated and individualized, with a focus on helping patients recover and improve their ability to feel better, move better, breathe better, and live better. The company offers clinical support, mentorship for new graduates, continuing education, and professional development opportunities. The posted salary is USD $60.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
