About The Position
Namy Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join its outpatient rehabilitation team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The role involves evaluating patients, identifying functional limitations, and developing personalized treatment plans to support independence and improve quality of life. The Occupational Therapist works directly with patients during rehabilitation and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, evidence-based clinical care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of Florida.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative outpatient setting.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, coordination, mobility, and overall function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
