About The Position
Paoli Health and Living, part of CarDon and Associates, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide high-quality care to residents. The CNA assists residents with daily living activities and works closely with nursing staff to monitor health and report changes in condition. The role calls for compassion, patience, and a commitment to residents’ comfort, dignity, well-being, and independence. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, flexible nursing schedules, opportunities for career advancement, weekly or daily pay, paid time off, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program, or acceptable verification through the State Nurse Assistant Registry.
- No finding in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding resident needs and changes.
