About The Position

CarDon and Associates is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Memory Care team at Cumberland Trace. The CNA provides high-quality care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their comfort and well-being. Working closely with nursing staff, the CNA monitors residents’ health and reports changes in condition. The role calls for compassion, patience, and a commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life while promoting their dignity and independence.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program, or acceptable verification through the State Nurse Assistant Registry.
• The State Nurse Assistant Registry must have no finding concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding resident needs and changes.
