About The Position

Sweetbriar Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join its assisted living community team. The ADON supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations. The role includes clinical supervision and nursing team leadership, with a focus on resident-centered care and staff development. The position is in person and includes day-shift scheduling, with night-shift and weekend availability.

Requirements

Proven nursing management experience in assisted living communities, nursing homes, or long-term care facilities.
Demonstrated experience supervising nursing teams.
Extensive knowledge of assisted living regulations.
Familiarity with PCC for documentation review and medical records management.
Experience managing care facility teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of nursing practice.
LPN license required.

Nice To Haves

One year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily clinical operations and supervising nursing staff across all shifts.
Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans aligned with residents' needs and preferences.
Ensure compliance with assisted living regulations, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory guidelines.
Supervise documentation review and medical records management.
Lead care teams and foster a positive work environment focused on resident-centered care and staff development.
Assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
