About The Position

Sweetbriar Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join its assisted living community team. The ADON supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining adherence to applicable regulations. The role provides clinical leadership and supervision while fostering a positive work environment focused on resident-centered care and staff development.

Requirements

• Proven nursing management experience within assisted living communities, nursing homes, or long-term care facilities.
• Demonstrated experience supervising nursing teams.
• Extensive knowledge of assisted living regulations.
• Familiarity with PCC for documentation review and medical records management.
• Experience managing care facility teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of nursing practice.
• LPN license required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily clinical operations and supervising nursing staff across all shifts.
• Oversee development and implementation of individualized care plans aligned with residents’ needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with assisted living regulations, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise documentation review and medical records management.
• Lead care teams and foster a positive work environment focused on resident-centered care and staff development.
• Assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
