About The Position

The Nursing Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse and works under the RN’s direction and supervision. The role provides basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, ambulation, and positioning. The Nursing Assistant also supports patient safety and satisfaction by conducting regular rounds on the nursing unit and communicating effectively with team members.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Applicable experience: less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Conduct regular patient rounds on the nursing unit to support patient safety and satisfaction.
