About The Position

The Nursing Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by the Registered Nurse and works under the Registered Nurse’s direction and supervision. The role provides basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning. The Nursing Assistant supports patient safety and satisfaction by conducting regular rounds on the nursing unit and communicating effectively with team members.

Requirements

• Less than one year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning.
• Conduct regular patient rounds on the nursing unit to support patient safety and satisfaction.
