Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant Fri-Sun Daytime Hours
About The Position
Suncrest At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice aims to provide exceptional hospice care and service by increasing staff-to-patient ratios, clinical visits, and support for clinicians. The organization is a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP)-certified hospice. The Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) works under the direction of the Director of CNA Services. The role provides resident care in accordance with resident assessments and care plans, as directed by nursing management. The CNA/HHA coordinates care with other licensed staff and follows company nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The position primarily involves visits to end-of-life patients on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as supply deliveries and triage visits when appropriate. The anticipated schedule is an eight-hour shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during daytime hours.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
- Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
- Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- CNA certification in the state(s) of practice.
- HHA certification in the state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities
