About The Position

The Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) provides care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments and care plans, under the direction of the Director of CNA Services and as directed by nursing management. The CNA/HHA works with licensed care staff to coordinate appropriate resident care and follows company nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The position primarily involves visits to end-of-life patients on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as supply delivery and triage visits when appropriate. The anticipated schedule is an eight-hour shift Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during daytime hours.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Willingness to work closely with patients one-on-one and independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice.
• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state(s) of practice.
