Nellis Auction is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support its online auction operations. Associates rotate across Inventory Processing, Putaway, and Picking and are cross-trained in all three functions. The role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse, maintaining accuracy and quality standards, and collaborating with teammates and supervisors. The weekend schedule runs Friday through Sunday, with hours ranging from 4:30 AM to 7:00 PM; shifts last 10 to 12 hours. In Inventory Processing, associates inspect and list auction items using company software, write clear product descriptions, meet personal throughput and quality KPIs, and use basic computer tools and warehousing hand tools. In Putaway, they receive and scan inventory, transport it to assigned storage locations, store items safely and neatly, update inventory records, and report discrepancies or damage. In Picking, they locate, scan, consolidate, and verify customer orders for shipment while handling items properly and supporting other warehouse departments as needed. Associates follow safety procedures, communicate clearly, and work both independently and with others, including team lifts for large or heavy items. This is an active role in an indoor warehouse where temperatures vary by season. Physical activities include frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds; standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping throughout long shifts; extensive walking; and climbing ladders and step stools.
