About The Position

The Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) works under the direction of the Director of CNA Services and provides resident care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, nursing management direction, company nursing policies, and safety guidelines. The role coordinates care with other licensed staff.

The position primarily involves visiting end-of-life patients on Saturdays and Sundays, with supply delivery and triage visits as appropriate. The anticipated schedule is eight-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during daytime hours.

Requirements

• Hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state or states of practice.
• Hold a Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state or states of practice.
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance, and be willing to drive.
• Be able to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Work well in a team environment and collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
