About The Position

Requirements

• Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university
• Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience
• Ability to work independently
• Working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• NPI & DEA
• Current National Board Certification
• May be required to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, treating, and educating patients in a clinic setting.
• Performing professional medical work in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients according to statutory limitations.
• Examining and diagnosing patients and developing treatment plans.
• Performing testing.
• Referring to physicians as needed.
• Writing prescriptions.
• Performing administrative procedures within their scope and licensure of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
