About The Position

Allegiance Medical Group (AMG) is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations and occupational health evaluations for Veterans and federal personnel. Examinations typically take 30–90 minutes and include medical histories, physical assessments, and electronic documentation. The work is limited to objective medical evaluations; it does not involve prescribing, treatment plans, ongoing patient management, or call responsibilities.

Providers can conduct examinations at an existing clinic or medical practice, or establish a local examination site that meets AMG's clinical requirements. Scheduling is self-directed and based on provider availability. AMG's administrative team handles scheduling and operational logistics, allowing providers to focus on patient evaluations. This part-time independent contractor opportunity may supplement an existing practice or provide a way to establish an examination location.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and using electronic medical records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Primary Care.
• Previous C&P or occupational health examination experience.
