Necco seeks licensed clinicians to provide therapeutic services to clients as independent contractors. The contractor provides clinical services consistent with their professional licensure and applicable regulatory requirements. Services may be delivered in offices, schools, community environments, or client homes, depending on clinical need and program structure. The contractor exercises independent professional judgment in choosing therapeutic interventions, subject to applicable laws, payer requirements, and program guidelines. Contracted services may include clinical assessments and intake evaluations; individual, family, or group therapy; treatment planning and therapeutic interventions; monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment; coordination with caregivers, foster parents, school personnel, and other providers; care recommendations; and maintenance of required clinical records. The contractor completes documentation required for Medicaid, payer, and regulatory compliance, uses Necco’s electronic health record system, and submits materials supporting billing and prior authorization when applicable. The contractor also supports client safety by developing safety plans when appropriate, reporting critical incidents and safety concerns as required, and adhering to professional and ethical standards. The contractor is responsible for maintaining an active professional license, completing continuing education needed to maintain licensure, and providing services consistent with applicable standards. The contractor is not a Necco employee, controls the manner and means of service delivery—including clinical judgment and scheduling—subject to applicable laws, payer requirements, licensing standards, and mutually agreed service expectations. Contractors are not eligible for employee benefits and are responsible for their own taxes and professional expenses. Requirements include active professional licensure in the applicable state; professional liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence/$3 million aggregate; auto insurance coverage of $100,000 bodily injury/$300,000 bodily injury per accident/$100,000 property damage; a valid driver’s license; successful completion of required background screenings; and the professional skills needed to provide clinical services and use electronic health record systems. State-specific requirements vary. In West Virginia, a master’s degree and professional licensure are required, with LSW contingent on obtaining LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LPCC, or LPC. In Kentucky, candidates need an advanced degree in a human services discipline, experience treating children with emotional or behavioral disabilities and their families, and a valid Mental Health Practitioner’s License. In Ohio, candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a human services discipline, relevant mental health treatment experience, and a valid Ohio Mental Health Practitioner’s License. Necco values diversity and is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are welcomed.
