Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3 years work experience.
  • Practice good oral and written communication skills.
  • Participate in training events (ie; Lockout/Tagout; HazCom; and bloodborne pathogen).
  • Treat all co-workers with dignity and respect.
  • Practice solid attention to detail and problem-solving.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain positive attitude.
  • Experience with, or ability to learn to use warehouse machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and measuring tools.
  • Ability to use computer to enter information and review reports.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders by using technical drawings and other required communication.
  • Pull and move parts throughout the manufacturing facility using either manual labor or equipment such as trucks or forklifts.
  • Keep a well-maintained area and updated account of parts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing parts, fix incorrect orders and replace damaged products.
  • Read and interpret measuring devices.
  • Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of Laser & Plasma cut parts.
  • Label every product and place them according to locations.
  • Perform daily lift truck inspections.
  • Keep Supervisor informed of any problems.
  • Adhere to established safety rules and policies.
  • Notify supervisor or safety director of any unsafe act or practice stopped.
  • Keep work area neat and orderly on a daily basis.
  • Follow quality control standards to ensure meeting quality and quantity requirements.
  • Maintain continuous movement of work, use hand truck, lift truck, or overhead crane to move work to and from designated storage, staging areas or workstation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
